Sunrise balloon flights meet shortly before sunrise with flight launching shortly after sunrise. Flights typically last 45 minutes to one hour in duration. Total time of sunrise hot air balloon flight adventure lasts 2-3 hours. This includes from the time we meet up, transportation to launch site, cover safety briefing, inflation, flight, pack-up, post flight ceremony, and back to vehicle. *Sunrise flights have least amount of weather cancelations as the weather generally stabilizes overnight.
Price per person.
Evening balloon flights meet approximately 2 hours prior to sunset. Flights typically last 45 minutes to one hour in duration. Total time of evening hot air balloon flight adventure lasts 2-3 hours. This includes from the time we meet up, transportation to launch site (unless we meet at designated launch site), cover safety briefing, inflation, flight, pack-up, post flight ceremony, and back to vehicle. *Evening flights are more susceptible to cancelations due to unstable weather.
Price per person.
We offer hot air balloon rides 7 days a week, weather permitting. Sunrise and sunset times vary throughout the year so our meeting times will vary. Dress for the season with layers in the summer months as the mornings Jr can be on the cold/chilly side.
After a preflight safety briefing, you are welcome to participate in the balloon inflation process and this is a good opportunity for someone who doesn’t want to fly to still be involved. Don’t forget your camera as there will be some great photo opportunities throughout the whole ballooning adventure! Ask the crew to take a few pictures for you, they will be happy to capture you in the moment.
Shoulder season is from October 20th-June 1st. This time of the year temperatures are typically a lot cooler so we can carry more people. Capacity up to 4 people, *depending on passenger size & weight along with ambient air temperature. Ballooning is very dependent on stable weather conditions which, during the shoulder season it can be hit and miss.
Flights are available for either sunrise or evening. If during the winter there is snow cover on the ground, we can even offer mid-day flights! Flights typically last from 45 minutes to one hour. The whole hot air balloon adventure flight experience takes between 2 and 3 hours. This includes from the time we meet up, transportation to launch site, cover safety briefing, inflation, fly, pack up, post flight ceremony, and get back to meeting spot.
